Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist – Up to £45k Base & NO Weekends!

Are you a Senior Technician looking for a workshop that values your technical mind as much as your spanner work? Step into a busy, long-established independent garage in Winchester where true fault-finding expertise is celebrated and weekends are strictly off!

About Us

We are a trusted technical authority in the region, offering a busy, independent alternative to corporate main-dealer pressure. While our workload is diagnostic-heavy, we blend complex electrical fault-finding with core mechanical repairs and servicing. We give our senior technicians total autonomy in their bays, top-tier diagnostic platforms, and access to on-site training facilities to solve complex problems properly—without corporate micromanagement or bonus-chasing stress.

What is in it for you:

  • Top Basic Pay: Up to £45,000 basic salary (reliable, fixed base pay tailored to experience)
  • Reclaim Your Weekends: Strictly Monday to Friday ONLY—keep every single weekend for yourself
  • Technical Autonomy: Full trust and freedom to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex issues your way
  • Advanced Training: On-site training facilities and fully funded pathways for EV/Hybrid systems
  • Modern Equipment: Work in a clean, professional workshop equipped with up-to-date diagnostic kit and oscilloscopes
  • Great Culture: A supportive, expert-led team that values craftsmanship over rushed volume

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
