Senior Vice President, Global Operations Strategic Execution & Business Management
BNY is seeking a senior leader to join Global Operations as Senior Vice President, Global Operations Strategic Execution & Business Management. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, execution-focused professional to help shape priorities, drive transformation, and deliver meaningful business outcomes across a global operating environment.
This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strategic thinking, operational insight, and strong business management capability, and who is motivated by partnering with senior leaders to drive performance, governance, and long-term change.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Leading complex, high-priority strategic initiatives across Global Operations teams and regions, supporting key operational priorities, business strategies, and performance outcomes
- Acting as the senior accountable owner for critical cross-functional initiatives, ensuring strong alignment, disciplined execution, and measurable results
- Translating operational, financial, and risk data into clear, executive-level insights and compelling narratives to inform leadership decision-making, operating reviews, and internal and client discussions
- Serving as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders, turning business priorities into actionable plans, performance measures, and effective governance routines
- Driving strategic programmes and transformation initiatives from design through execution, providing oversight, challenge, and direction to achieve timely and sustainable delivery
- Partnering closely with the Global Operations leadership team to align business management, reporting, and execution with financial, operational, and strategic objectives
- Enabling data-driven decision-making by delivering high-quality management insights that support business performance and long-term goals
- Providing forward-looking analysis on client trends by interpreting historical data and emerging patterns to support client review and planning discussions
- Enhancing team and organisational effectiveness by fostering strong individual contribution, collaboration, and high-performance ways of working across the function

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking:
- A master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA or CFA preferred
- Significant experience in consulting, strategy, and business management
- Strong experience in Global Operations business management
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across senior stakeholder groups
- A proven track record of delivering strategic change within a complex operational environment
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility across multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience identifying and implementing operational strategies that improve ways of working and drive efficiency
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with execution focus in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organisation
