We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Product Owner to join our Integrated Middle Office Solutions team. This role can be based in either Manchester or London.

As part of this role, you will support delivery of team-level priorities and execution of product tasks aligned to the platform vision. You will also collaborate across pods and stakeholders to assist in managing dependencies and tracking progress toward shared goals.

In addition to this, you will also work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate the acquisition of new component and platform business, applying commercial discipline across the business, and oversee client due diligence and onboarding processes for Integrated Middle Office Solution TRADE & Channels.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supporting the Product Owner and team in delivering outcomes aligned to platform and business goals.
  • Translate product vision and platform strategy into clear team-level deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and across pods to gather input and provide coordination support for delivery.
  • Interaction with the client directly to manage Trade requirements.
  • Participate in user research, Trade analysis, and stakeholder engagement to inform product planning.
  • Managing product backlogs by drafting user stories, refining requirements, and prioritizing upcoming work with guidance from the PO.
  • Support client onboarding activities, ensuring client requirements are translated into business asks and compared to BNYs standard operating model.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and updates with relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Support preparation and facilitation of sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure user stories include necessary acceptance criteria and reflect user needs accurately.
  • Contribute to the commercial development of the business via new business conversations.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Deep experience in Middle Office Trade processing (post execution trade workflow). Trade process and infrastructure in the middle office, with strong knowledge of TRADE. Awareness of interaction with front office, operations, risk and Client Reporting and Performance.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, operational, and Trade considerations relevant to Middle Office and the use of workflow, reporting, and analytics tools to improve service and risk outcomes.
  • Deep understanding and ability to navigate models on Trade consumption, capture, market facing trade matching & settlement across Securities, Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC derivatives (Swaps and OTC options and knowledge of cash posting into IBOR on all instruments.
  • Knowledge/experience with DTCC CTM, Traiana, SWIFT, Markit is preferable.
  • Experienced in supporting client delivery within a pod or team environment, helping translate client/business priorities into clear requirements, contributing to backlog refinement, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, managing dependencies, and supporting improvements across TRADE-related workflows and controls.
  • Additional knowledge about security master capabilities in Middle Office Trade processing and data distribution is preferable but not required.
