About Topham Guerin

Topham Guerin are the global influence experts. We combine strategy, creativity and technology to shape opinions, build movements and deliver measurable impact for ambitious organisations, leaders and campaigns around the world.

Our teams work across London, New York, Sydney and Auckland, delivering social media, digital communications, content and campaigns for clients in the UK and internationally.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor and Motion Designer who can turn strong ideas, footage and sometimes very loose briefs into sharp, high-quality content.

  • You’ll be equally comfortable cutting a fast-paced social video, building a motion-led animated asset or taking a longer-form film from rushes through to final delivery.
  • You should have strong editorial instincts, an eye for design and the ability to find the story in the material you’re given.

Because digital is our bread and butter, you should understand how people actually consume video online. You’ll know how to hook attention quickly, build pace and structure, and adapt work for different platforms without simply resizing the same edit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Motion design will be a major part of the role. You should be confident in developing visual treatments, animation systems and motion graphics from scratch, rather than relying solely on templates.

You’ll work closely with designers, content specialists, art directors, videographers and strategists to bring ideas to life. You’ll also be expected to work quickly and be trusted to own projects, manage your workload and get work over the line without needing constant creative direction.

We’re embracing AI across our creative workflow, so you should already be experimenting with new tools or be hungry to learn.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit short and long-form video across social, digital and campaign work
  • Develop motion design concepts, treatments and animation systems
  • Create bespoke motion graphics and animation from scratch
  • Turn raw footage and loose briefs into clear, engaging stories
  • Use typography, music, sound design and graphics to elevate edits
  • Develop platform-native edits for different social channels and formats
  • Work with designers and art directors to bring wider campaign ideas to life
  • Shoot interviews, events, social content and other productions when needed
  • Think ahead to the edit when planning and capturing footage
  • Own projects through editing, feedback, versioning and final delivery
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising craft
  • Use AI tools to speed up workflows, explore ideas and push the quality of the work
  • Keep up with new editing styles, motion techniques, tools and creative trends
  • Help raise the standard of video and motion work across the creative team
