About us

NUSA STUDIOS is a social-first content studio. We're an agile team of 8 in-house creatives, producers, shooters and editors, combining scalable creative ideas with an agile production approach.

Founded during the pandemic we’ve spent the last 6 years ideating and producing video content for channels including YouTube, Meta, TikTok & TV. Helping brands like Ford, Monzo and Surreal to stand out and be remembered.

The Role

This is a senior position within our post-production team. You'll own projects end to end. Editing is the core of the role, with motion design and VFX a strong second focus and sound a smaller part of the mix. As a rough split, expect Editing 60%, Motion Design/VFX 30%, Sound 10%.

We work in DaVinci Resolve for editing, with motion design and VFX handled in After Effects and Fusion, so you'll need to be confident across all three day to day.

You'll work alongside our existing senior editor (whose strength is colour grading) and our head of post, collaborating with directors, producers and creatives to make sure the storytelling hits the highest standard across every deliverable.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver edits end to end, from offline through to polished final delivery.
  • Cut engaging, social-first content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta, plus the occasional TV ad.
  • Create motion design, animation and VFX in After Effects and Fusion, from kinetic typography and graphic systems through to compositing and clean-up.
  • Handle sound design and audio finishing where needed, so every edit lands with the right rhythm and punch.
  • Deliver confident, high-quality colour work in DaVinci Resolve, supporting the studio's grading standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors, DOPs, Creative Leads and Producers to translate briefs into world-class content.
  • Maintain clear and consistent post workflows, naming conventions, archiving and project organisation.
  • Ensure all deliverables are adapted for the appropriate platform and aspect ratio, with best-in-class user experience on each.
  • Manage multiple timelines and deliver to tight schedules without compromising quality.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, motion design and editing techniques, and AI tools that improve workflow and elevate quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

  • 6+ years of professional editing experience (agency, in-house or freelance), with a solid track record of delivering for premium brands.
  • Editing is your core strength: a natural storyteller with a keen sense of pacing, rhythm, structure and emotional tone.
  • Strong in After Effects and Fusion for motion design, animation and compositing. This is a significant part of the role, not a nice-to-have.
  • Extremely confident in DaVinci Resolve, editing in it every day.
  • Comfortable with sound design and audio finishing when a project calls for it.
  • Genuinely social-media-aware: you understand platform guidelines, how the marketing funnel works, and how best to grab attention with the content you're making.
  • Familiarity with the wider Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong communication skills: confident explaining creative decisions and giving/receiving feedback.
  • Up to date with current editing, motion design and platform trends.
  • Some knowledge and experience of working with AI tools (e.g. Seedance, Kling, Veo, etc.) to streamline and elevate the process.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects, while also being a collaborative team player.
