We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the satellite communications industry, for an experienced Senior VLSI Design Engineer to join their modem VLSI design team.

The role will focus on complex SoC design, advanced digital signal processing and modem subsystem development, covering architecture, front-end design, verification and physical design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop digital VLSI modules from concept through to final implementation.
  • Contribute to advanced signal processing cores and modem subsystem development.
  • Support architecture, RTL design, verification, synthesis and static timing analysis.
  • Integrate and deploy subsystems within the company’s design environment.
  • Collaborate across multiple engineering teams to deliver complex SoC solutions.

  • 5+ years' experience in VLSI engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the full ASIC/VLSI design flow and tool chain.
  • Experience with RTL coding, verification, physical-design-aware synthesis and STA.
  • Experience in VLSI architecture and digital design.
  • Good understanding of signal processing and modem architecture is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and self-learning abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and provide technical leadership across projects.
