JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Waiter/Waitress in our Straits Kitchen Restaurant & Bar, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for every guest. You will act as a true ambassador of Pan Pacific London, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. In this role, you will combine outstanding customer service, strong attention to detail, and confident leadership skills. As a Senior Waiter/Waitress, you will support the team in maintaining high service standards while creating memorable and engaging dining experiences for our guests. This is a demanding yet highly rewarding position, requiring a genuine passion for hospitality and a consistent commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Consistently follow restaurant standards, policies, and procedures, working collaboratively with the team to deliver Forbes Five-Star and LQA service excellence.
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, wines, champagnes, cocktails, beverages, service standards, and presentation requirements.
• Stay informed of daily operations, including VIP guests, reservations, hotel activities, menu updates, unavailable items, and special events to provide personalised and knowledgeable service.
• Welcome and assist guests with seating arrangements, ensuring tables are impeccably prepared and presented in line with luxury hospitality standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and create warm, engaging, and personalised interactions throughout the dining experience.
• Provide confident menu recommendations, take accurate orders, and deliver seamless food and beverage service while maintaining attention to detail.
• Support reservation management and guest enquiries when required, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and a smooth guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of restaurant presentation, equipment care, and operational readiness in line with departmental procedures and Pan Pacific brand standards.
• Support and guide junior team members, leading by example and contributing to a positive, collaborative service culture.
