As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Senior Warehouse Assistant to support the smooth running of our warehouse operations while helping to guide and support the wider warehouse team when the Warehouse Manager is not available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility and develop their leadership skills in a supportive and ambitious business.

What you'll be doing
- Stock Control: Checking, booking in, and replenishing stock accurately.
- Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing, and dispatching orders efficiently and accurately.
- Inventory Management: Supporting stock takes and helping maintain excellent stock accuracy.
- Team Support: Assisting Warehouse Assistants, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and to agreed timescales.
- Compliance: Supporting ISO accreditation activities, Health and Safety requirements, and risk assessments.
- Administration: Ensuring all warehouse paperwork is completed, filed, and archived correctly.
- Collaboration: Responding to warehouse requests and queries from departments across the business.
- Courier Coordination: Liaising with couriers to ensure items are collected, shipped, and tracked promptly.
- Leadership: Providing day-to-day support to the Warehouse Manager and deputising when required.
What you bring to the table
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential.
- Team Leadership: Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising colleagues within a warehouse setting.
- Communication Skills: Confident communicating with people at all levels of the business.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Team Player: Able to work both independently and collaboratively to meet operational targets.
- Adaptability: Flexible approach to working hours when business needs require it.
- Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn and develop a detailed understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices.

Bonus Points If You Have
- Forklift Truck experience or a willingness to undertake training.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 standards.
- A basic understanding of Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
The Logistics
- Due to our beautiful rural location, you'll need a full clean driving licence and your own vehicle.
- This is a hands-on role that includes manual handling and lifting of heavier items.
- Occasional travel may be required.
