Join our dynamic Water Team as a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller in our UK or Ireland offices while enjoying a flexible hybrid working model.
As a key influencer, you’ll drive impactful water projects across the UK and internationally. We enable flood alleviation schemes, pollution reduction, and other infrastructure projects—providing unique growth opportunities through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams that include planners, designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers.
We’re an industry leader in Blue-Green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, working with clients like Severn Trent, Anglian Water, and the Environment Agency to deliver:
- Flood risk assessments
- Drainage strategies
- Hydraulic models
- Detailed designs

Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Deliver: Build and verify hydraulic models for sewer networks, develop integrated models, and scope/planning projects including flow surveys and catchment-scale solutions for flooding/pollution risks.
- Expertise: Apply cutting-edge technologies, solve client challenges, and develop tender/scopes for projects.
- Document and Present: Prepare technical reports, presentations, and clear documentation to showcase modelling findings effectively.
- Lead and Mentor: Support junior team members’ professional development and maintain positive client relationships.
- Quality Assurance: Check hydraulic models, calculations, and reports to ensure quality, compliance, and specification adherence.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Hydraulic Modelling (e.g., GIS or ArcGIS/MapInfo).
- Deep knowledge of specific tools: Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset for asset/hydraulic management.
- Water consultancy expertise with a commitment to autonomous, deadline-driven work.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
