A leading Banking Institution wish to recruit senior wealth planners (and in addition team leaders) across London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Wealth Planners acts as a trusted adviser to customers helping them achieve their financial goals by providing wealth planning and investment advice. The primary role of the Wealth Planner is to understand the needs and long-term goals of new and existing customers and provide them with bespoke planning and investment advice

Overview:

  • Self-directed to achieve personal objectives and assist in achieving team targets for attracting new customers and investable assets.
  • Deliver high quality bespoke wealth planning and investment advice, maximising value for new and existing customers, ensuring customers investments are structured correctly to achieve established medium- and long-term goals.
  • Understand the of the risks associated with investment products; in particular, the relationship between customer attitudes to risk and the suitability of financial products recommended.
  • Work closely with our Wealth acquisition team to transform prospects to invested customers.
  • Fully utilise and engage the Wealth Planners toolset, systems and platforms, and challenge current standards to continuously improve quality.
  • Engage with digital technologies, products and solutions that are relevant to the Wealth proposition and can use them to enhance the service provided to clients.
  • Be able and willing to discuss markets, their issues and opportunities with prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer service and delivery.
  • Act as key contact and be recognised as an expert for all Wealth products (with a focus on pensions)

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • The Wealth Planner must hold a financial planning qualification with a minimum of level 4
  • The candidate will be minimum Level 4 qualified in advising on packaged products
  • Appropriate technical/product knowledge of pensions and Investment Advice in the UK.
  • Satisfy the FCA criteria for an approved person both initially and ongoing.
  • Have experience of controlling and monitoring risk within a client book.
  • Have broad experience of the Financial Services industry, particularly in the areas of Retail regulated products/service to mass market
