Senior Web Developer - European Websites

£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Web Developer looking for a role with real ownership, international exposure and the opportunity to make a genuine impact? At Savaria, a global leader in accessibility and mobility solutions, we're looking for a Senior Web Developer to take ownership of our European websites and help shape the future of our digital estate across multiple markets.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll be the technical lead for our European websites, responsible for ensuring they remain secure, high-performing, measurable and optimised for growth. Working closely with marketing, digital, design and regional teams across Europe, you'll drive best practice in development, performance, analytics, technical SEO, GEO and website operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning the day-to-day technical management of Savaria's European WordPress websites
  • Managing website development, maintenance, security and performance
  • Driving improvements in Core Web Vitals, user experience and website reliability
  • Leading technical SEO initiatives, including international SEO and hreflang implementation
  • Managing analytics and tracking through GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking tools
  • Supporting integrations with CRM and lead management platforms
  • Working with regional marketing teams to ensure websites effectively support business growth
  • Advising on digital best practice and helping determine when work should be delivered internally or through external partners

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience, with substantial hands-on ownership of live WordPress websites
  • Strong WordPress development experience, including themes, plugins and ACF
  • Good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and website analytics
  • Technical SEO expertise, including international and multi-region websites
  • Experience managing website security, hosting and performance optimisation
  • A proactive, solutions-focused individual with excellent ownership and problem-solving skills

£60,000 - £70,000 base salary Annual Bonus, Benefits Package
