Senior Workday Analyst (Comp & Benefits) at Harrods

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Workday Analyst (Comp & Benefits) to join our Workday team at Harrods. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and optimising Workday solutions across key functional domains, driving innovative, scalable, and reliable outcomes that support our evolving business needs.

As a subject matter expert, you will lead solution design, champion best practice, and ensure Workday continues to deliver exceptional value across the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to a Principal Workday Lead, you will provide expert functional guidance to senior stakeholders, translating business priorities into effective Workday solutions. Partnering closely with our Head of Total Reward, you will lead key projects and optimisation initiatives across Compensation and Benefits, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of Workday Business Processes, security frameworks, eligibility rules, and calculated fields
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing mentoring and technical guidance to Workday Analysts through configuration reviews, design recommendations, and case management support
  • Own end-to-end functional solution design across assigned Workday modules, ensuring alignment with platform standards, governance, and business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, functionality, and user adoption
  • Contribute to the evolution of platform standards, design principles, and Workday best practices across the organisation

About You

You will bring extensive hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday, alongside deep expertise within Compensation, Benefits, or related functional areas. You will be comfortable leading complex solution design initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and delivering strategic outcomes beyond day-to-day configuration activities. You possess a strong understanding of Workday Business Processes, security architecture, and cross-functional dependencies. Most importantly, you have the confidence to challenge requirements constructively and recommend innovative, best-practice solutions that support future business growth.

You will also have:

  • Proven experience supporting Workday releases, managing functional risk, and leading regression testing activities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes
  • Relevant Workday certifications within Compensation, Benefits, or related modules preferred, though not essential
  • A collaborative and supportive approach, with experience coaching and developing colleagues
  • The agility to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities, demands, and ways of working continue to evolve
