Location: North West England
Working model: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
We are supporting a large international organisation looking to strengthen its internal Workday capability with an experienced Senior Workday Analyst specialising in Security and Data.
This is a senior functional position sitting within an established HR Technology team. You will take ownership of Workday Security and Data Governance, acting as the subject matter expert across security configuration, access controls, data quality and governance.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the Workday Security model
- Configure and maintain Security Groups and role-based access
- Manage Domain Security and Business Process Security policies
- Conduct security audits, access reviews and compliance activities
- Maintain appropriate Segregation of Duties controls
- Assess security impacts arising from organisational and system changes
- Develop and maintain Workday data governance standards and controls
- Support improvements to data quality, ownership and consistency
- Assist with data privacy, retention and regulatory requirements
- Work alongside integration teams to ensure secure and accurate movement of Workday data
- Troubleshoot Workday data, reporting and integration-related issues
- Create and maintain Workday reports and calculated fields
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system and process improvement

What we're looking for:
You should have strong hands-on experience administering Workday Security within a live Workday environment.
Key experience includes:
- Workday Security administration
- Domain Security and Business Process Security
- Security Groups and role-based access
- Domain and BP Security Policies
- Security audits and access reviews
- Segregation of Duties
- Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields
- Workday Data Governance and Data Quality
- Understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Workday integrations and data flows
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills

Desirable experience:
- Workday Pro Security certification
- Workday Pro Reporting certification
- Workday Prism Analytics
- Broader Workday Integration knowledge
- GDPR or other regulatory compliance experience
- Workday Security redesign or transformation programmes
This would suit someone who has genuinely owned or administered Workday Security, rather than someone whose experience has primarily been broader HCM configuration or integrations.
You will join a specialist Workday team, working alongside colleagues with ownership across other Workday functional areas.
