Senior Workday Specialist
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid London | 2–3 Days Onsite
We’re looking for a Senior Workday Specialist to join a global People Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll act as a senior Workday SME, leading complex enhancements, optimisation projects and system changes while partnering with senior People, IT and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Workday solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Drive complex optimisation projects and system enhancements.
- Provide expertise across Core HCM, Recruiting and additional Workday modules.
- Develop reports, calculated fields and dashboards.
- Support Workday security, governance and data integrity.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
- Support Workday releases and identify opportunities to leverage new functionality.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the People Technology roadmap.

About You
- 3+ years’ Workday experience across configuration, support and optimisation.
- Strong expertise in Core HCM and Recruiting.
- Experience with at least 2 additional modules such as Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll or Peakon.
- Strong Reporting and Calculated Fields experience.
- Proven experience delivering complex Workday projects end-to-end.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Workday security, HR processes and data governance.
