We are working with a leading Design & Build contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Pitch Designer to play a key role in securing new projects through high-quality, compelling design proposals.
This position sits at the front end of projects, focusing on tender and pitch stages, where design quality and strategic thinking are critical to winning work.
The Role
- Lead the development of creative and commercially viable design concepts for tender submissions.
- Interpret client briefs and translate them into compelling design narratives that align with project objectives, budget, and programme constraints.
- Produce high-quality design outputs including concept design, mood boards, spatial layouts, and 3D visualisations.
- Utilise Revit to develop and coordinate design information where required, ensuring alignment with technical and delivery teams.
- Ensure all design proposals are clear, coordinated, and aligned with technical and commercial requirements.

- Work closely with bid teams including Project Directors, Pre-Construction leads, Commercial teams, and Technical Services.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions are deliverable, cost-effective, and aligned with the overall bid strategy.
- Contribute to the wider bid response, ensuring design is fully integrated into the submission.
Client Engagement
- Engage with clients and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, vision, and constraints.
- Present design concepts during pitch meetings, clearly articulating design intent, value, and deliverability.
- Help shape early-stage design direction to strengthen bid competitiveness.
Design Leadership
- Take ownership of the overall design quality and presentation of pitch materials.
- Develop strong visual and narrative storytelling across all stages of the pitch.
- Mentor and guide junior designers where required, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs.

- Incorporate sustainable and cost-conscious design strategies that add value to client proposals.
About You
- Strong background in interior design, architecture, or workplace design within the D&B or fit-out sector.
- Proven experience working on tenders and pitch submissions.
- Proficient in Revit, with the ability to produce and coordinate design information at early stages.
- Strong skills in design and visualisation tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape or similar).
- Confident in presenting to clients and communicating design ideas effectively.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of buildability, cost, and programme.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
