Job Details
- Type: Permanent
- Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid model requiring minimum of 40% in-office)
- Salary: Competitive, ranging from £58,480 to £87,720 based on experience

The Customer and Workplace Proposition function builds Aegon’s proposition for EBCs, employers, and customers. It also manages the technical elements of the Master Trust and the overall customer service experience.
Reporting to the Marketing Transformation Director (Workplace and Customer), you will lead the innovation and concept development of Aegon UK’s Workplace ARC products and services. The team will develop and implement all proposition changes relating to new innovations, competitive responses, or regulatory and wider macro changes. You will be responsible for interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as Governance committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed support and input on specific components into the overall channel architecture and its development.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience and Insight to ensure customer research is carried out with the appropriate analysis.
- Develop cross-functional take-to-market plans for all project deliverables.
- Support pilots and/or prototypes to test product and service changes.
- Ensure product development, product reviews, risk management, and control frameworks are embedded within the Workplace Propositions team.
- Work closely with all parts of Marketing to develop and implement promotional and support activities.
- Build reports and presentations exhibiting and analyzing the implementation, progress, and success of all Workplace products and services.
- Support key strategic relationships with partners.
- Provide subject matter expert support on Workplace ARC to support new business pitches and market and member communications.

Requirements
- Proven record of proposition delivery within a business function.
- Strong understanding of the Workplace market and products.
- Knowledge of Consumer Duty and its impact on marketing and customers.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework in UK financial services and its application to customer conduct, financial promotions, and product governance.
- Ability to evaluate complex problems and deliver innovative and creative solutions.
- Confidence to constructively challenge requirements, creative proposals, and detailed business cases.
- Proven track record of creative thinking and problem-solving.
- Experience developing and maintaining products and services.
- Experience working in the Financial services sector.
