The Role

Snowflake has an opening in our London office for an adaptable, proactive and diligent Senior Workplace Specialist.

You are an extremely thorough self-starter who possesses outstanding office management & organizational skills, and who demonstrates diligence and attention to detail. You will be the linchpin of our London office and be critical to the smooth running of the workplace. You will be comfortable taking the initiative to drive results with minimal supervision, be solution-oriented, deal with ambiguity, rapid changes in priorities and short deadlines, and have the ability to coordinate with multiple cross-functional internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

Reporting to the Regional Workplace Manager, you will support the day-to-day workplace operations of our London office:

  • Day-to-day office management
  • Manage office service vendors, including contracted personnel such as cleaners, day porters, maintenance coordinators, and catering staff
  • Coordinate and oversee food and beverage program
  • Support Regional Workplace Manager with office moves and space planner initiative as lead coordinator
  • Manage shipping and receiving of goods, and mail program
  • Contact with center manager
  • Ordering memberships and badges for new hires
  • Support the implementation of new workplace programs and initiative
  • Track space utilization
  • Prepare PO's for additional services and GR's
  • Provide event support
  • Coordinate minor repairs
  • Conduct regular physical inspections of the office space, premises, hallways, common areas
  • Help to ensure all building and maintenance policies, procedures, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced, including safety systems and standards.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Team Program

What You'll Have

Specifically, you will have:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Office or Workplace/ Facilities Coordinator
  • Vocational training in office, hotel or workplace services and able to prove the necessary experience to handle the variety of tasks listed
  • Be an independent, extremely adaptable, self-starter with excellent customer service/ Hospitality skills and a positive, 'can do' attitude and not a 9-5 mentality. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and demands
  • Proficient with the MS-Office Suite, and presentations
