Job Title: Senior Workplace Strategy Lead

Salary: £78,098 - £91,880

Location(s): Bristol

Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you'll be doing

Lead the thinking behind the future workplace!

You'll shape Lloyds Banking Group's workplace strategy, helping to create environments where colleagues can thrive and businesses can perform at their best. Combining data, insight and innovation, you'll influence executive decisions on our office portfolio, workplace experience and location strategy while leading transformational programmes that define the future of work across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Shape and deliver Lloyds Banking Group's future workplace strategy, influencing executive decisions on office locations, workplace experience and long-term estate planning.
  • Lead the development of workplace, portfolio and location strategies that align with business priorities, colleague needs and future ways of working.
  • Use data, insight and emerging trends to find opportunities to optimise workplace performance, utilisation and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex challenges into clear, evidence-based recommendations, business cases and strategic plans for senior leaders.
  • Drive major workplace transformation and location strategy programmes across a diverse corporate portfolio.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Property, People, Technology, Operations, Finance and the wider business to build future workplace solutions.
  • Leverage workplace analytics, technology and innovation to enhance colleague experience and support business outcomes.
  • Monitor external trends, emerging technologies and market developments to inform future workplace strategy.
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, facilitating discussions and influencing key decisions.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and data-led decision making.
  • Play a pivotal role in defining the future workplace for one of the UK's largest organisations.
  • Influence high-profile strategic decisions that shape how and where colleagues work.
  • Combine strategy, data, technology and people insight to deliver significant business transformation.

What we're looking for?

  • Significant experience in workplace strategy, organizational property strategy, management consulting, business strategy or transformation.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategy within large, complex organisations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven experience producing executive-level recommendations and business cases.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Strong communication, presentation and storytelling capability.

And any experience of these would be great!

  • Experience working with large multi-site or multinational property portfolios.
  • Experience supporting portfolio planning across multiple regions, countries or business units.
  • Experience within banking, financial services or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience of workplace analytics, occupancy analysis or estate optimisation.
  • Knowledge of workplace technologies, IoT platforms, digital twins, smart buildings or AI-enabled workplace solutions.
  • Experience working within corporate real estate, facilities, workplace experience or future of work programmes.
