Senior Youth Worker
Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? YMCA St Helens is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Youth Worker to support the delivery of high-quality youth work programmes for young people aged 11-25. The role involves leading activities, supporting staff and volunteers, championing youth voice, and ensuring young people have access to safe, engaging and supportive opportunities.
Working closely with the Youth Services Development Manager, you will help coordinate youth provision across St Helens, lead projects, monitor impact, build partnerships and promote high standards of safeguarding and youth work practice.

We're looking for someone with:
- A degree-level Youth Work qualification or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience delivering youth work programmes.
- Experience supporting or supervising staff and volunteers.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and youth participation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
