The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with several leading technology consultancies and enterprise organisations across England who are seeking experienced Cloud Architects to join their growing teams. These roles offer a unique opportunity to act as a trusted technical advisor, leading clients through complex cloud infrastructure builds, migrations, and strategic roadmap planning across major cloud platforms.
The Role
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions, ensuring that technical implementations align with business requirements, industry best practices, and relevant governance and compliance frameworks. You will guide cross-functional and delivery teams through the full project lifecycle — from architecture design through to migration and deployment — while acting as a key advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. Beyond hands-on architectural work, you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, contribute to pre-sales and business development activities, and help shape long-term cloud strategy for high-profile clients.

What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud architectures on one or more major platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
- Solid background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and compliance/governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead complex migration and modernisation programmes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and managing technical delivery teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience contributing to pre-sales, client relationship management, or consulting engagements is highly desirable.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC or DV) is an advantage for certain roles.
