Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (Russian & English)
We are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (with fluent Russian & English) to join our team and take strong ownership of infrastructure automation, CI/CD, virtualization, monitoring, and production operations.
This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with Linux infrastructure, enjoys solving production issues and wants to have a real impact on platform architecture and operational standards.
You will work closely with development, NOC, telecom/voice engineering, and product teams in a technical environment with real production traffic and high-availability requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform
- Manage Linux-based service deployments across Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS
- Operate and maintain Proxmox VE clusters, storage, backups, and related infrastructure
- Support and improve monitoring and alerting using Zabbix, Grafana and Prometheus
- Administer PowerDNS and manage DNS zones
- Operate NATS clusters, including monitoring, topic management, and basic troubleshooting
- Develop Bash/Python utilities for automation, deployment, testing, and operational tasks
- Work with Docker/Kubernetes environments where applicable

What we’re looking for:
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing and DNS
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Terraform
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with Proxmox VE or similar virtualization platforms
- Experience with monitoring and alerting
- Bash and/or Python scripting for infrastructure automation
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- English at B2 level, or at least confident technical reading skills
- Fluent Russian for daily communication
- Senior-level independence, responsibility, and initiative
Nice to have:
- HAProxy configuration and troubleshooting
- Percona/MySQL administration
- MongoDB administration
- Logging stack experience: ELK, OpenSearch or Loki
- Telecom infrastructure experience
