The Real Estate Team

Our real estate team is known for its reputation among major developers, occupiers and investors and across the energy, living and education sectors. Recognised as having an established regional general real estate practice with a growing national presence. Our expertise is broad and varied, covering contentious and non-contentious aspects of real estate, construction and built environment projects. We act for leaders in their field, including Land Securities, Shaw Healthcare, Associated British Ports, Panasonic, Ascona Group, University of South Wales, Development Bank of Wales, HSBC and Bridgend College to name a few.

The Role

We’re looking for a highly experienced and dedicated real estate lawyer who will provide a variety of transaction-handling and advisory services to clients operating in a range of sectors.

What are we looking for?

  • Between 5 and 7+ years post-qualification experience of commercial property law.
  • Understanding the importance of client relationships and experience of creating, or strengthening, client relationships.
  • Technical competent and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear written presentation, strong organisational skills, good time management, good initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-focused with a flexible and collaborative approach to working with others, as well as independently.
  • A strong client focused approach with plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service.
  • Leadership qualities - leads by example (role model), leading/managing/developing colleagues & teams.
  • To travel regularly to London and Cardiff to visit clients and colleagues.
