We are looking for a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the design and delivery of advanced electrical infrastructure and critical facilities projects. Whether you are operating at Senior level and ready for greater responsibility, or already working as a Principal Engineer, this role offers the opportunity to lead significant design packages, contribute technical expertise and work alongside multidisciplinary teams delivering world-class engineering solutions.
You will be trusted to take ownership of key aspects of project delivery while helping to maintain engineering quality, supporting colleagues and contributing to innovative, practical and efficient design solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver electrical engineering designs for complex projects, including LV systems, power distribution, backup power, lighting and associated building services systems.
- Lead the development of technical solutions and undertake engineering calculations and system design activities.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Review design outputs and provide technical guidance to maintain quality and consistency.
- Support client interactions and contribute to technical discussions throughout project lifecycles.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and share technical knowledge across teams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and enhanced engineering performance.
- Support project planning, resource forecasting and design programme delivery.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience delivering electrical building services engineering designs.
- Proven understanding of power distribution, standby power systems, lighting and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Experience leading design packages and managing technical deliverables.
- Strong coordination and communication skills within multidisciplinary project environments.
- Ability to review engineering work and solve complex technical challenges.
- Experience supporting clients, stakeholders and developing junior engineers.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations and best practices.
