Senior / Principal Mechanical Engineer - Water & Infrastructure
London, Epsom, Peterborough or Cambridge
£53,000 - £65,000 Per Annum plus Benefits
Hybrid - 3 days office/site based
The Opportunity
Join a leading engineering team delivering major UK water and infrastructure projects. We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong water-sector background who is ready to take technical ownership and lead complex multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead/coordinate Mechanical Engineering teams delivering water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Produce and review design reports, drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary projects, supporting delivery, bids and client requirements.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the development of the wider Mechanical Engineering team.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with Chartered/ Incorporated status.
- Proven Mechanical Engineering design experience within the Water sector is essential.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, blowers, screens, chemical dosing systems and UK design standards.
- Good understanding of CDM/DSEAR, with strong communication and leadership skills.
