Our Copy team enjoy independence and ownership across a wide variety of projects. Supported by our expert Editorial and PromoMats teams, our writers are able to truly focus on turning complex science into compelling narratives and engaging educational content.

We are looking for a Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating an in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts, including an awareness of emerging evidence and trends, and using this to shape medical communications materials
  • Developing a full range of written deliverables for allocated projects, accounts or workstreams
  • Understanding, applying and contributing to product strategy in all work
  • Taking the lead on scientific content discussions with clients and external experts
  • Being seen by the client team as a trusted scientific partner on allocated accounts, whose informed opinions and proactive suggestions are valued
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues and departments, including Client Services, Creative, Editorial and Strategy, to ensure the seamless delivery of projects
  • Contributing to new business opportunities

We believe someone with a deep interest in science and medical communications and the following experience could be a good match for this role:

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable)
  • Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
