Important

  • Experience: 15+ Years (Enterprise/Solution Architecture)
  • Cloud: Mandatory: Deep expertise in at least ONE (AWS / Azure / GCP)
  • Domain & Focus: Banking, Capital Markets & AI-Native Systems

Role Overview

Coforge is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Solutions Architect to lead large-scale architectural and digital transformations for our Tier-1 and growth Banking & Financial Services clients in the UK and Europe. In this strategic role based out of our London (Fenchurch Street) office, you will define target-state enterprise architectures, bridge legacy core banking platforms with modern cloud-native ecosystems, and spearhead the implementation of AI-native engineering and agentic systems across critical banking workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Architect robust, highly resilient, and scalable target-state solutions on a major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP mandatory) tailored to complex banking environments.
  • AI-Native Engineering & Agentic Workflows: Pioneer the integration of AI-native architecture patterns—including agentic workflows, autonomous systems, RAG pipelines, and model-driven orchestration—into core banking, payments, and risk operations.
  • Domain Modernization & Composable Banking: Translate complex business requirements across retail banking, corporate banking, payments (e.g., ISO 20022), and open banking into modular, event-driven, and API-first architectures.
  • Pre-Sales, Bids & Advisory: Partner with client CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and Coforge sales leaders to lead technical discovery, respond to complex RFPs, design proof-of-concepts, and deliver compelling C-suite architectural blueprints.
  • Regulatory & Financial Resilience: Ensure all target architectural blueprints align with stringent UK/EU financial regulatory standards, cyber resilience frameworks (DORA, PRA/FCA guidelines), and data sovereignty mandates.
  • Technical Leadership & Governance: Guide multidisciplinary engineering squads, establish architecture guardrails, and conduct rigorous design reviews to ensure alignment with target-state blueprints.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
