Senior / Principal Structural Engineer

Fully Remote | £40,000 - £60,000 + Bonus Scheme

Looking for something a bit different from the average consultancy role?

We're working with a growing structural engineering consultancy that has carved out a specialist niche in the design of Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and precast concrete structures. Whilst still a relatively small business, they're involved in projects many larger consultants would be proud to have on their CV.

Their portfolio includes work across stadiums, high-rise developments, transport hubs, town halls, student accommodation, and major commercial schemes, collaborating with contractors, manufacturers, and design teams throughout the UK and beyond.

As the business continues to grow, they're looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer who wants genuine responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to help shape the future of the company.

The Role

You'll take ownership of projects from concept through to manufacture and installation, acting as the technical lead whilst working closely with contractors, factories, and clients. Responsibilities will include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
