We're seeking a Project Manager to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our central government client.

Please note, this is an initial 3-6 month PAYE umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London 1-2 days per week.

Summary

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing a complex courts reform delivery programme. You will provide the essential programme structure, governance, and coordination needed to drive delivery of reform recommendations across a multi-agency environment. Your work will directly contribute to transforming how the criminal justice system operates by facilitating collaboration between the various agencies.

You Will

  • Establish and lead complex transformation programmes, including mobilisation, planning, delivery management, and reporting
  • Design and operate governance structures, assurance processes, and decision-making forums to ensure effective programme oversight
  • Facilitate and engage senior stakeholders across multiple organisations to build consensus and coordinate efforts
  • Manage interdependencies across workstreams and organisations, ensuring alignment and effective hand-offs between delivery phases
  • Develop forward plans, delivery roadmaps, and milestone tracking to transition recommendations from policy development into operational implementation
  • Analyse data and develop performance reporting to provide evidence-based insights for decision-making
  • Coordinate dependency management, reporting, and benefits tracking across a complex, multi-agency delivery environment
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective delivery and sustained commitment throughout the programme

Ideally, We'd Like

  • Proven experience designing and operating governance structures within large-scale transformation programmes
  • Eligible for enhanced DBS check (rehabilitation of offenders act exempt due to nature of the role and organisation)
  • Track record of managing interdependencies and coordinating delivery across multiple organisations
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders
  • Experience developing strategic delivery roadmaps and managing policy-to-implementation transitions
  • Capability in data analysis, performance reporting, and evidence-based insight generation
  • Working knowledge of government and regulated environments, ideally within justice, policing, criminal justice, or public sector reform
  • Excellent communication and consensus-building abilities
  • Resilience and adaptability when managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing intricate delivery timelines
