Arm Solution Engineering organization delivers complex solutions from systems specifications, through FE & validation, physical implementation and silicon.
Join our dynamic Front End design team, a key part of Arm's SE SoC Engineering!
We are a dedicated group of engineers developing complete subsystem solutions (GPU Subsystem, Control Subsystems ) and Reference Platform designs for a wide range of market segments including automotive, mobile, server and more. Our solutions build on outputs from Arm IP teams, leveraging the latest Arm IP and selected third-party components to deliver fully integrated, optimized subsystem designs that are incorporated into SoCs targeting edge AI, physical AI, and cloud AI applications.
Responsibilities
As a member of the design team, you will be involved in the specification, design and verification of various subsystems and/or testchips.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing the RTL and design intent deliverables (SDC, UPF)
- Integrating IPs
- Running various design checks
- Writing part of micro-architecture specification
- Working with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues
- Collaborating with the implementation team to optimize those designs
- Planning your work, providing tracking and reporting status to ensure high-quality and timely delivery
Required Skills And Experience
- Hands-on working knowledge of System Verilog or Verilog HDL for RTL design
- Solid understanding of RTL design for complex SoC development
- Experience in the following areas: static design checks, power and clock domain crossing, synthesis
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and systems fundamentals, with hands-on experience in complex system design— involving CPU, GPU, multimedia IP (camera, display, video), interconnects, memory controllers, and high-performance peripherals.
- Knowledge of UNIX environment and scripting eg Python, Perl or UNIX shell scripting
- Ability to write specifications and documentation describing complex designs

"Nice to Have" Skills and Experience
- Exposure to Arm-based designs, Arm System Architectures and AMBA standards.
- High level programming experience such as C/C++ and/or assembly language programming
- Participation in large scale complex SoC development projects
- Experience of Functional Safety product development for the Automotive market (applying standards such as ISO 26262 and/or IEC 61508)

Salary Range
£97,300 - £131,700 per year
