This role will be based in London only with salary ranging from £66,600 to £86,000 (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

Role Responsibilities
- Developing the strategy to utilise and exploit to best effect a significant source of financial intelligence, opportunity spotting where the data source can enrich FCA understanding of financial crime issues
- Hiring, growing, and managing (overseeing and performance managing) a blended team of data and intelligence analysts at various grades
- Overseeing the creation of data-led intelligence packages for onward action and liaising with internal and external partners to share, validate and develop insights
- Acting as a role model and advocate for intelligence within the wider FCA
- Being part of both the Data Exploitation and Specialist Intelligence Department management team
Minimum Skills Required
- Experience of managing and developing staff to deliver high-quality practical and exploratory analysis
- Experience of significant project delivery and oversight of acquisition and exploitation of intelligence data
- Experience of working in at least one of: intelligence analysis (e.g., OSINT, SOCMINT), investigations, and/or financial services sector; of particular interest, in any of these areas, would be experience of economic or financial crime issues.

Essential
- Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering both strategic and tactical briefings to a range of stakeholders of differing seniority.
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills, to engage with a variety of internal and external partners, setting own direction of engagement and leading projects to improve stakeholder business processes and workflows.
- Able to articulate how data can be used to drive both tactical and strategic decision-making, spotting opportunities where a data-led approach can drive better outcomes.
- Excellent workload management of own workload and the management of a team of associate analysts.
