Job Title: SEO Account Manager
Location: Leeds | Hybrid Working (3 days in office)
Salary: £32,000 - £48,000 + Bonus
The Company
This is a well-established, full-service digital agency based in Leeds, offering performance, web, and creative services under one roof. Founded in 2007, the business is 100% employee owned and B Corp certified, giving staff a genuine stake in its long-term success and a culture built around shared accountability rather than a traditional ownership structure.
The agency works with a portfolio of global and challenger brands across a wide variety of industries, with a performance team that spans SEO, paid media, content, social, and analytics. Its SEO offering covers technical, on-page, content, authority building, and Digital PR, and the team is now evolving its service to incorporate GEO, AEO, and LLM visibility work alongside strong SEO fundamentals.
Roles & Responsibilities
As SEO Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of SEO accounts within a collaborative agency environment, delivering technically grounded, commercially focused SEO work across retainers, projects, migrations, and content strategies while building trusted relationships with clients and contributing to how the agency's SEO offering continues to develop.
- Manage SEO accounts end to end, including planning, prioritisation, communication, and delivery against client KPIs
- Develop tailored SEO strategies covering technical SEO, content, authority building, Digital PR, and local and international SEO
- Conduct audits across technical SEO, content visibility, link profiles, and structured data to identify opportunities and risks
- Plan and brief content strategies including keyword research, page mapping, content gaps, and internal linking
- Deliver client reporting using GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools, providing clear, commercially relevant commentary
- Lead SEO input during web builds, redesigns, and migrations, including pre- and post-launch QA
- Analyse client visibility across AI-led search environments and contribute to GEO and AEO strategy
- Present recommendations and performance updates clearly and confidently in client-facing settings
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts and support new business with audits, proposals, and pitch contributions
- Support the development of junior team members through guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to internal processes, templates, and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
