SEO Account Manager

Staffordshire | Hybrid working 1 day/week in office
£34,000 - £37,000

We’re delighted to be supporting one of our favourite agency clients in their search for a talent SEO Account Manager. Following a number of new business wins, they’re growing their SEO team and looking for someone who can take ownership of a portfolio of clients, build strong relationships and help shape SEO strategies that deliver genuine results.

You’ll need to be comfortable talking to clients, confident enough to make recommendations, and curious about everything from technical SEO and content through to GEO and AI-led search. Agency experience would definitely help, but ultimately they’re looking for someone who knows their SEO and enjoys working with clients.

What will you be doing?

You’ll manage the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of SEO clients, working alongside the wider SEO team to develop strategies, spot opportunities and keep activity moving.

Your role will include:

  • Managing SEO client accounts and building strong day-to-day relationships.
  • Developing and delivering SEO and GEO strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve search visibility, traffic, engagement and conversions.
  • Carrying out keyword, competitor and search trend research.
  • Reviewing websites and identifying content, technical and on-page SEO improvements.
  • Creating and optimising website content, landing pages, blogs and case studies.
  • Supporting technical SEO including crawlability, indexation, redirects, site structure, page speed and Core Web Vitals.
  • Using tools including Semrush, GA4, Google Search Console and Looker Studio to monitor performance.
  • Reporting on results and presenting recommendations and next steps to clients.
  • Supporting local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation.
  • Keeping up with changes across SEO, GEO, AI search and Google algorithm updates.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
