Senior SEO & AI Automation Manager

Full-time

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Head of Digital Product

Salary: 60,000 (some flex DOE)

Hybrid

The opportunity

We're partnering with a leading private equity-backed business to appoint a Senior SEO & AI Automation Manager.

This is a newly created role for a forward-thinking digital professional who operates at the intersection of technical SEO, AI-powered discovery, and marketing automation.

You'll own the organic growth strategy across a large portfolio of websites, improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms, and build scalable automation systems that reduce manual work and improve output across the marketing team.

This is not a maintenance SEO role. You'll own the organic roadmap from strategy through to implementation, reporting, and continuous optimisation.

Key responsibilities

SEO strategy and leadership

  • Own and evolve the organic search strategy across a large portfolio of websites.
  • Develop and manage an end-to-end SEO roadmap aligned with wider growth objectives.
  • Lead technical SEO audits, site architecture improvements, and schema implementation.
  • Work closely with content, product, and development teams to embed SEO best practice across all projects.
  • Improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-generated search experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
