About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and analytical SEO Consultant to provide strategic SEO leadership across a portfolio of clients.

This role goes beyond executing SEO tasks. You will act as a strategic advisor, responsible for understanding each client's business, diagnosing organic growth opportunities, defining SEO priorities, and translating data and technical findings into actionable strategies.

You will work across the full SEO lifecycle, including technical and content audits, keyword and search intent analysis, competitor benchmarking, content strategy, off-page opportunities, implementation recommendations, performance analysis, and strategic reporting.

As a Consultant, you will be expected to independently identify problems and opportunities, prioritize initiatives based on potential business impact, and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.

You will work closely with internal SEO specialists and cross-functional teams to ensure recommendations are properly implemented and evaluated. You will not simply report on performance—you will explain what is happening, why it is happening, what should happen next, and how it connects to the client's business objectives.

This is a remote, client-facing role requiring strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, communication, and the ability to manage multiple clients independently.

SEO Consulting & Strategy

  • SEO Strategy: Develop strategic SEO roadmaps aligned with client business objectives, market opportunities, organic performance, and competitive positioning.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify organic growth opportunities across technical SEO, content, search demand, SERPs, and off-page performance.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Evaluate SEO opportunities based on potential impact, effort, urgency, and business relevance to establish clear priorities.
  • Search Intent & Keyword Strategy: Conduct and/or oversee keyword research, clustering, search intent analysis, funnel alignment, and opportunity mapping.
  • Technical SEO Consulting: Analyze technical SEO issues, assess their potential impact, prioritize recommendations, and provide clear implementation guidance.
  • Content Strategy: Develop content strategies based on search demand, user intent, competitor gaps, existing performance, and business priorities.
  • Off-Page Strategy: Identify backlink and authority-building opportunities and provide strategic recommendations for improving domain authority and organic competitiveness.
  • Competitor & SERP Analysis: Conduct competitive benchmarking, SERP analysis, content gap analysis, and identify opportunities to outperform competitors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who thinks beyond rankings and traffic.

The ideal candidate understands that SEO is a business growth channel, not simply a collection of technical tasks. You should be comfortable analyzing complex situations, challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities, and building clear strategies based on data.

You should be able to move between high-level business discussions and detailed SEO analysis, understanding both the strategic “why” and the practical “how.”

We value consultants who are proactive, curious, analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable taking ownership of their recommendations and their clients' success.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your SEO career and become a strategic partner for clients rather than simply an SEO executor, we’d love to hear from you.
