SEO Content Executive

Staffordshire | Hybrid – 1 day/week in the office

£28,000–£32,000

Are you an SEO Executive with a flair for content? Or perhaps you're currently working in content but have developed a strong understanding of SEO and want to take your skills further?

We’re working with an established marketing agency that’s growing its SEO team following some very exciting new business wins.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys the content side of SEO but wants exposure to the wider picture too. You’ll work across content creation and optimisation, keyword research, on-page SEO, reporting, local SEO and technical SEO, while also getting to grips with the rapidly evolving world of GEO and AI search.

Working as part of an experienced SEO team, you’ll support a varied portfolio of clients, helping them improve their visibility across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-led platforms.

Your role will include:

  • Creating SEO and GEO-optimised website copy, blogs, case studies and landing pages.
  • Optimising existing content to improve rankings, engagement and conversions.
  • Carrying out keyword, search query and topic research to uncover new content opportunities.
  • Using tools such as Semrush, Google Analytics and Google Search Console to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
  • Supporting SEO content strategies across a range of client accounts.
  • Carrying out SEO audits and supporting technical SEO activity including crawlability, indexation, redirects, broken links, site structure and Core Web Vitals.
  • Monitoring competitors and keeping an eye on emerging SEO, GEO and AI search trends.
  • Supporting local SEO activity including Google Business Profile and location page optimisation.
  • Reporting on SEO performance and turning the data into clear recommendations.
  • Uploading and managing website content through CMS platforms.
  • Liaising directly with clients to discuss performance, activity and recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
