About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Coordinator to join our dynamic team at phs Group. Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in waste management or environmental services is preferred.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license is often required, depending on the specific role and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule waste collection operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of waste disposal activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, safety, and compliance departments, to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Stay informed about changes in environmental legislation and industry best practices, ensuring company compliance and continuous improvement.
