About The Role

We are looking for an SEO Copywriter to join our growing Marketing Department.

This role is ideal for strong writers who can create clear, accurate and engaging content that performs well in search, supports AI discoverability and helps customers make confident decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create clear, engaging and accurate content across Wren’s website, blogs, buying guides, customer stories and PR activity.
  • Research topics thoroughly and work from briefs to produce well-sourced, useful content.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practice, including search intent, headings, metadata, internal linking and natural keyword use.
  • Write consistently in Wren’s tone of voice, adapting style by channel while keeping the brand clear and consistent.
  • Produce trustworthy content that reflects expertise, authority and customer need.
  • Self-edit to a high standard for clarity, accuracy, grammar and readability.
  • Update and improve existing content to maintain accuracy, relevance and search performance.
  • Write content that supports visibility across traditional search and emerging AI search platforms.
  • Work closely with the Content, SEO, PR and wider Marketing teams to plan, create and publish content

About You

  • 4+ years' experience writing SEO content (in-house, agency or freelance).
  • Proven success improving organic traffic, engagement and conversions.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, search intent and content optimisation.
  • Excellent writing, grammar and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at researching and simplifying complex topics.
  • Experience updating content using SEO data and trends.
  • Proficient with Ahrefs, Semrush and Google Search Console.
  • Understanding of AI search and its impact on content discovery.
