SEO Director – Retail & E-commerce
London | Hybrid | Up to £80,000
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Director to lead strategy across a portfolio of high-profile retail and e-commerce clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who combines deep SEO expertise with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of driving organic growth for retail brands.
The Role
- Lead SEO strategy across major retail and e-commerce accounts
- Drive organic visibility, traffic, conversions, and revenue
- Own senior client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
- Lead across technical SEO, content, and digital PR
- Develop category, product, and seasonal SEO strategies
- Oversee complex e-commerce SEO projects, site migrations, and technical audits
- Lead strategies around AI search, GEO, and LLM visibility
- Work closely with paid media, content, digital PR, and development teams
- Lead and develop the SEO team
- Support pitches and new business opportunities

About You
- 6+ years’ SEO experience, ideally agency-side
- Strong experience working with retail and e-commerce brands
- Excellent technical and strategic SEO knowledge
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and large-scale websites
- Commercially focused with a clear understanding of revenue, conversion, and ROI
- Experience leading senior client relationships and SEO teams
- Confident presenting strategy and performance to senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the changing search landscape, including AI search and GEO
