Website Creative Conceptions
We’re looking for a results-driven SEO Executive with experience managing search engine optimisation for multiple websites, including Shopify and Magento eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will take ownership of optimising SEO strategies across our main company website and various sub-brands, ensuring that each site maximises its visibility in search engines and drives organic traffic growth. These include a mixture of both B2B and DTC websites.

Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy Development: Design, implement, and manage SEO strategies for the company’s websites and sub-brands, with a strong focus on increasing organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.
- On-Page and Off-Page Optimisation: Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, on-page optimisation (title tags, meta descriptions, content optimisation), and manage link-building campaigns for multiple websites.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Executive to ensure that SEO best practices are implemented in content creation and provide guidance on optimising content for search engines.
- Technical SEO: Conduct regular technical audits of websites to identify crawl issues, site speed problems, mobile responsiveness, and other factors that may affect organic performance. You must work closely with our web developers to ensure that all technical SEO recommendations are implemented effectively across websites.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly track, report, and analyse SEO performance across websites using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Local SEO: Manage our Google My Business listings.
- Third-Party SEO: Optimise our listings on third-party selling sites such as Superdrug marketplace and Boots.
- Competitor Analysis: Keep an eye on industry trends and conduct competitor SEO analysis to ensure we stay ahead in our market.
- Blog Management: Writing and uploading SEO-focused blog articles to our sites – support will be given to understand our audience and tone of voice.
Qualifications
- Marketing / Business or related degree / qualification (ideal): Having a wider understanding of business principles and a commercial mindset, with a vision for growth.
- Proven SEO Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an SEO role or Digital Marketing role that involved SEO.
- Shopify Experience: Hands-on experience optimising Shopify-based websites for search engines and managing the CMS.
- Technical SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of technical SEO principles, including sitemaps, page speed optimisation, schema markup, and mobile SEO.
- Content & Keyword Strategy: Solid experience in keyword research, content optimisation, and collaborating with content teams to align content marketing efforts with SEO goals.
- Tools Proficiency: Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret performance data and refine strategies accordingly.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, ensuring all websites adhere to the latest SEO standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, including marketing, content, and development.
- Strong Literacy Skills: You will be involved in writing SEO-optimised content, so strong written skills are essential.
