Magnetize is an award-winning performance marketing agency specialising in SEO, PPC and Paid Social for service-based businesses. We work with ambitious brands across healthcare and other lead generation sectors, helping them drive measurable growth through data-driven marketing strategies.
We're looking for an SEO Executive who is passionate about search, embraces emerging technology, and wants to be part of an agency that is adapting to the rapidly changing world of AI-powered search.
The Role
As an SEO Executive, you'll support our Head of Search with the planning, delivery and optimisation of SEO campaigns across a range of clients. You'll work closely with our SEO and PPC teams to improve organic visibility, increase qualified traffic and deliver meaningful business results.
This role is ideal for someone with solid SEO foundations who is excited about the future of search and understands that modern SEO is about far more than rankings alone.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Performing technical SEO audits and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Using tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4 to analyse performance and uncover insights.
- Supporting content strategy, content briefs and topical authority planning.
- Monitoring rankings, traffic, conversions and SEO performance.
- Implementing and recommending on-page SEO improvements.
- Supporting structured data and schema implementation.
- Keeping up to date with Google's algorithm updates, AI Overviews and emerging search technologies.
- Contributing to client reports and presenting findings and recommendations.
- Working collaboratively with clients, content teams and developers to deliver SEO improvements.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- 1-3+ years of SEO experience, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of technical, on-page and content SEO.
- Proficiency with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking with clients.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple areas of an SEO project at the same time.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Good understanding of E.E.A.T principles and their role in YMYL SEO.
- Awareness of how AI Overviews, LLMs and AI-driven search experiences are reshaping organic search.

Desirable
- Experience working with healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Experience implementing schema markup and structured data.
- Understanding of AI search optimisation and AI visibility.
- Experience with WordPress and common SEO plugins a plus.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimisation.
