Founded in Plymouth in 1989, The Range has grown to become one of the UK's leading and fastest-growing privately owned retailers. With over 280 stores across the UK and Ireland, we offer an extensive range of products spanning multiple departments. People are at the heart of our business, and we are committed to investing in our staff to help shape an extraordinary future.

As a result of our continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic SEO Executive to join our Head Office team in Plymouth.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded SEO Executive to support the growth and performance of SEO across all CDS Superstores brands. Working closely with the SEO Lead and wider Digital, Trading, Content and Technology teams, you will support the delivery of SEO activity across our large and complex ecommerce estate.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering technical SEO, content, on-page optimisation, performance analysis and SEO projects. You will also support website migrations and replatforming projects, while contributing to our developing approach to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to increase organic visibility and traffic.
  • Optimise category, product, landing page and editorial content, including titles, meta descriptions, headings and content structure.
  • Support technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting crawling, indexing, internal linking and organic performance.
  • Monitor and optimise areas including site architecture, redirects, canonicals, XML sitemaps, robots directives and structured data.
  • Use SEO crawling, analytics and performance tools to identify opportunities and monitor results.
  • Analyse organic search performance, rankings and traffic to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support internal linking and content strategies across large ecommerce websites.
  • Work with Trading, Category, Content, Product and Technology teams to deliver SEO improvements.
  • Support SEO activity during website migrations, replatforming projects and major site changes.
  • Assist with SEO requirements, audits and pre- and post-launch checks during website projects.
  • Support GEO and AEO initiatives by helping optimise content and website structures for AI-powered search experiences.
  • Stay up to date with SEO, search engine and AI developments and contribute new ideas and opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
