The Role

This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals who wants to develop their career in organic search and AI-driven search experiences. You'll work closely with an experienced SEO team, with a strong focus on content creation, content optimisation and SEO/GEO, helping clients improve their visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.

If you're a confident writer with a passion for SEO and digital marketing, this is an excellent opportunity to build your technical and strategic skills while working across a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, SEO and GEO-optimised content, including website copy, blogs, landing pages, case studies, and other digital content.
  • Write engaging, conversion-focused content tailored to different audiences and brand tones.
  • Optimise existing website content by improving meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking, and image optimisation.
  • Proofread and quality-check content produced by the wider team.
  • Support the delivery of content strategies that improve organic and AI search visibility.
  • Carry out keyword, topic, and search intent research using Semrush and other SEO tools.
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify content opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Conduct SEO audits and identify opportunities to improve website performance.
  • Support technical SEO by identifying issues with crawlability, indexation, redirects, broken links, site structure, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Track performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio, helping turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Set up and optimise Google Business Profiles as part of local SEO campaigns.
  • Support local SEO activity through keyword research and location page optimisation.
  • Manage website content within CMS platforms, including uploading content, creating pages, and optimising images using tools such as Photoshop.
  • Communicate with clients through email, phone, video calls, and meetings where required.
  • Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates, AI search developments, and SEO best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
