A global technology business is looking for an experienced SEO & Generative Search Manager to lead organic and AI-search strategy for a major digital product portfolio.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), content strategy and AI.
You will own a content-led search strategy designed to increase visibility not only across traditional search engines, but also within AI-generated answers and discovery experiences including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini.
The role requires someone who understands how search is changing and can translate those changes into scalable content, optimisation and measurement strategies.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute a content-focused SEO strategy designed to increase organic visibility, traffic and engagement.
- Lead Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO/LLMO) initiatives to improve content visibility and citations across AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Conduct keyword research, search-intent analysis, content-gap analysis and competitive research.
- Optimise content and entity signals for both traditional search engines and generative AI platforms.
- Use AI tools and automation to scale SEO research, content analysis, topical-authority planning and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing content and develop new SEO- and GEO-focused content.
- Develop data-led hypotheses around search intent, content structure and organic performance.
- Analyse SEO and GEO performance, identify trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Partner with content strategists, UX, marketing and product stakeholders to develop search-friendly digital experiences.
- Identify emerging search and AI-visibility trends and translate them into commercial opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
