Role Overview
Our client is an established digital agency with a strong track record in SEO and a growing focus on how brands can perform in AI-powered search. They’re looking for an experienced SEO professional to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, combining account management with hands-on SEO consultancy and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, wants genuine responsibility and is interested in where SEO and AI search are heading. The role is fully remote, working a 4 day week.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SEO clients and act as their main point of contact
- Lead client meetings, reviews and ongoing strategy discussions
- Develop SEO strategies aligned to client goals and commercial objectives
- Carry out technical SEO audits covering areas such as crawling, indexation, site structure, internal linking and site performance
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility across traditional and AI-powered search
- Develop content strategies and create detailed briefs
- Support link building, outreach and digital PR activity
- Work with developers and client teams to implement SEO recommendations
- Monitor organic performance and provide clear, commercially focused reporting
- Use tools including Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Semrush
- Keep up to date with developments in SEO, AI and the changing search landscape

Role Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment
- Proven experience managing client relationships and presenting to clients
- Strong technical SEO knowledge and experience conducting SEO audits
- Good understanding of content strategy, search intent and on-page optimisation
- Experience with link building, outreach or digital PR
- Confident using Google Search Console, GA4 and leading SEO tools
- Able to turn data and technical findings into clear, practical recommendations
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how SEO contributes to business growth
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Genuine interest in AI search / GEO and the future of organic search
- Additional technical skills such as HTML, JavaScript, schema or Python would be advantageous
