Our first shop opened in 1981 in Penzance, selling durable clothing to artists and mariners. Today, we’re a modern, data-enabled omnichannel retailer with a growing international presence. We blend heritage with innovation, designing timeless clothing made from responsibly sourced fabrics, and using technology to improve how we operate, grow and serve customers.

As we scale in the UK and internationally (primarily through third-party partnerships), we’re investing in data, systems and digital capability to support our people and our growth. It’s an exciting time to join us!

As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day technical and content needs across our digital platforms. You’ll be accountable for identifying opportunities to optimise the ‘findability’ of products and content across our sites.

This role will refine and develop our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy, working within the wider Ecommerce team to ensure alignment of activity and delivery against commercial targets.

Please note this role is based remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices.

This role is part-time, 32 hours per week. Working patterns can be agreed within the recruitment process, but the successful candidate would preferably work a Monday as part of their working week.

You’ll help us by:

  • Developing and implementing effective organic search strategies that align to wider business objectives.
  • Driving organic rankings and delivering against agreed channel objectives.
  • Taking accountability for managing the SEO quality of all digital content, keyword and link development in support of the content strategy.
  • Actively using data analysis and insights to optimise performance.
  • Identifying and exploring new technologies/advancements that support channel growth.
  • Working with the wider team on channel forecasts.
  • Supporting new product launches through organic search activity, build and tagging of relevant content.
  • Producing reporting, performance analysis and regular updates to the business.
  • Including stores (i.e footfall driving activity) in your overall strategy.
  • Monitoring on-page behaviour of traffic from organic search and making recommendations to improve conversion.
  • Working with creative and development teams on asset creation to ensure they meet SEO requirements.
  • Aligning with the PPC (pay per click) team, to ensure Seasalt has a coherent search strategy.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and keeping up to date with current digital trends.
  • Work with the Technology team to ensure best practice, where relevant.
  • Effectively managing partners and agencies to ensure efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
