SEO Manager
At Blue Array, we are passionate about driving results through effective digital marketing strategies. As a leader in SEO and Digital PR, we are committed to providing innovative solutions that empower our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced SEO Manager to take senior ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and help shape the strategic direction of our SEO offering.
About the role
In this position, you will take full strategic ownership of several client accounts, leading the relationship at a senior level while directing the technical, analytical, and creative work that underpins a successful SEO campaign. You'll be trusted to set the strategy, defend it to senior stakeholders, and be accountable for the results it delivers.
Applicants must live in the UK; unfortunately, we can't offer sponsorship for work permits at this time, so you will need full right to live and work in the UK.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Own the SEO performance for your client accounts end-to-end, setting and defending the strategy and roadmap at senior stakeholder level.
- Direct technical audits, keyword research, and content recommendations, and take accountability for the reports and forecasts that go to clients.
- Monitor client websites daily, weekly, and monthly, and own course correction when the SEO channel is off track against its North Star Metrics.
- Lead relationships within the broader client team, including marketing, in-house developers, content writers, and social media teams, acting as the senior SEO voice in the room.
- Proactively identify and pursue upsell opportunities within client accounts.
- Set the tone for best practices across the team, sharing initiatives and results and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and represent Blue Array through internal and external speaking opportunities.
- Educate other areas of the business on how their work impacts SEO category performance.
- Opportunity to line-manage and develop an SEO Specialist, overseeing their workload and ongoing development.
- Work towards clear targets (KPIs) aligned with the company's objectives, and take ownership of hitting them.
Why You?
We are looking for experienced SEO professionals with a proven track record of managing client accounts and stakeholders at a senior level. Most importantly, we want to connect with those passionate about SEO and ready to take the next step in their career as a senior SEO leader.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
