SEO Manager
Birmingham City Centre | Hybrid | Permanent | £45K - £55K
I'm working exclusively with a well-established consumer brand that's investing heavily in its digital growth and is looking to hire an experienced SEO Manager to take ownership of its organic search strategy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced marketing team where SEO is seen as a key commercial growth channel. You'll work across technical SEO, content, digital PR and AI-driven search, helping to increase visibility, customer acquisition and revenue.
Working closely with Digital Performance, Ecommerce, Content and Development teams, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the SEO roadmap while influencing wider marketing initiatives across the business.
What you'll be doing
- Own and deliver the company's SEO strategy.
- Develop a long-term roadmap aligned with commercial objectives.
- Lead technical SEO improvements, working closely with developers.
- Drive keyword strategy and organic content planning.
- Improve search visibility across key product and category pages.
- Build domain authority through outreach and digital PR initiatives.
- Manage external SEO agency relationships.
- Monitor performance, reporting on rankings, traffic and commercial impact.
- Explore emerging AI search opportunities and integrate AI tools into SEO workflows.
- Act as the internal SEO specialist, championing best practice across the wider marketing team.

About you
You'll already have experience in an SEO Manager or Senior SEO position and be comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
You'll also bring:
- Strong technical SEO knowledge.
- Experience working alongside development teams.
- A solid understanding of content strategy, search intent and on-page optimisation.
- Experience using platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
- An interest in AI and how it's shaping the future of search.
