Are you excited by how AI is changing the way people discover and choose products?
Do you thrive on cross-functional collaboration, turning strategy into shipped, measurable results?
About Our Team
The team is responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and user growth for Elsevier’s AI-powered research platform, LeapSpace. Operating as a small, agile, and fast-paced team, they work cross-functionally with content, product, and marketing stakeholders to build and execute innovative growth strategies. The team is passionate about shaping the future of AI for researchers and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while helping build a foundational AI product from the ground up.
About The Role
This role owns how LeapSpace is found. It spans search, answer engines, and generative AI - earning organic visibility and qualified traffic, being the trusted source in snippets and direct answers, and being accurately cited and recommended by AI assistants.
You'll work in partnership with a specialist external agency to shape the strategy, bringing your own judgement, and challenging their thinking. You will drive delivery through the internal teams who own the content and touchpoints where that strategy lands. The most important capability here isn't technical: it's turning a plan into shipped, measurable results across teams.
Responsibilities
- Define the LeapSpace search and AI-visibility strategy, shaping and pressure-testing the roadmap with the agency
- Leverage Elsevier's existing domain authority and assets, to accelerate visibility
- Act as internal owner and day-to-day contact for a specialist search and AI-visibility agency.
- Establish the technical content structure and structured data that get LeapSpace discovered
- Define the content taxonomy and information architecture - how content is organised, and hierarchised, so that individual pages can be cleanly extracted and cited
- Turn strategy into a coordinated programme of work, removing blockers and keeping contributors moving in the same direction
- Stay ahead of how discovery is changing and translate emerging shifts into a concrete plan
- Build effective working relationships with internal collaborators and cross-functional teams

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
