A global financial services organisation is looking to appoint an interim SEO Manager to join its Digital Experience team. Working within a collaborative, high-performing environment, you'll play a pivotal role in driving organic growth, improving website visibility and shaping search strategy across a large portfolio of digital assets.

This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and wants to work for a recognised international brand with a strong digital presence.

Your new role

As SEO Manager, you will lead initiatives designed to increase organic visibility, traffic and engagement across multiple websites. Working closely with Marketing, Content, UX, Analytics, Development and external agency partners, you will develop and execute search strategies that support wider business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing SEO and GEO strategies to improve organic performance.
  • Conducting technical SEO audits and providing recommendations to development teams.
  • Carrying out keyword research and search trend analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partnering with content and editorial teams to optimise existing content and inform future content creation.
  • Monitoring website performance, rankings and traffic using SEO and analytics tools.
  • Producing regular performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Supporting website optimisation projects to improve search visibility and user experience.
  • Developing and executing link-building and authority-building initiatives.
  • Working closely with compliance and governance teams to ensure digital content meets regulatory requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging search technologies, including AI-powered search and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in an SEO-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and website optimisation.
  • Experience using SEO and analytics platforms such as GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar tools.
  • Proven ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including content, UX, analytics and development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
