About the Role
Our client is the UK's number one brand in its category - a direct-to-consumer business with genuine heritage, double-digit year-on-year growth and real momentum in ecommerce.
They’re looking for an SEO Manager to protect and grow their organic visibility, drive sustainable traffic growth and ensure best-in-class search performance across their digital estate. You'll own the SEO agency relationship, act as the team's technical SEO expert and stay ahead of both Google algorithm changes and the emerging AI-search landscape - helping our content stay findable as search evolves.

The SEO Manager will be responsible for:
- Owning organic search performance, keyword rankings and technical site health (crawlability, Core Web Vitals, structured data, etc.)
- Managing and challenging the SEO agency, ensuring their recommendations align with business goals
- Coordinating delivery of SEO recommendations with developers, content teams and other stakeholders
- Tracking and adapting to Google algorithm updates and AI-driven search developments
- Identifying technical, content and on-page opportunities to grow rankings and traffic
- Reporting performance and insights clearly to stakeholders

Requirements
The SEO Manager will have:
- Proven SEO management experience, either client or agency side
- Confidence managing and holding an external SEO agency to account
- Understanding of AI-driven search (AI Overviews, LLM discovery) and how to optimise for it
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SEO tools
- Great stakeholder management and a proactive, ownership mindset

£50-60,000 + bonus + benefits
